Your needs might be very urgent. If you have been turned down for long-term disability, apply again and again; find out what works for others, I know of people on permanent disablity for things like high blood pressure and depression.

If there are limited resouces in your area, they may be able to refer you elsewhere. (Where I live there is very little emergency housing but the city has an arrangement with Las Vegas, so some people go there.)

I know how hard it is to be separated from a beloved pet, it may be all you have left that represents 15 years of your life with its many transitions. I've had a few times in my life when I went many years between pets; its not the way I want to live but you can get through it.
