Can a housewife claim that she is retired by making her husband a houseman?
Since our moderator said it is the best if we introduce ourselves by starting a new topic, here is a new one.
He has not just quit but we have also moved to a new continent- Australia. We did it because we prefer the climate here and the nature. We've lived in HK for 15 years prior to our move. It's quite a challenge to make such a dramatic change, but I think we are doing quite well. Our son is really happy in the school (less homework) and we are just looking forward to make some new friends now.

Hi Chan! Welcome! If your husband is anything like mine, I think the best you can hope for is Semi-retirement! I love Australia - what city did you choose? Edit: I just read your profile, Melbourne, that is so cool!

Yes, she should - how could a housewife ever retire unless the responsibilities are rearranged after DH's retirement
