Canadian says "hello everyone!"

So like many on this forum, I have been lurking around for a couple years before writing my first official post.

I am a 36 year old male, married to my beautiful wife for nearly 10 years. She hasn't really taken much of an interest in finance herself, but has been more supportive, and on board with our journey than anyone could hope for.

I have been interested in financial freedom for the past decade or so. Most of our networth is tied up in 3 small businesses we own (with family) and several rental properties. We don't have too much money in the markets. I have found that business and real estate suits my personality better.

As for when I would like to ER... I actually have no idea (more on that later). But in the meantime, I am really enjoying the journey.

I have gained so much from reading these forums over the past couple years. Thank everyone for your insight! Hopefully I can give back in one way or another!
