CSA number

I applied for disability through FERS and did receive a CSA number. Does anyone know how long it takes for OPM to make a decision after the CSA number is issued?

Welcome to the Early Retirement Forum.

I don't have disability, but retired through FERS. I got my CSA number on December 14th, 2009, and my retirement was finalized on February 3rd, 2010. Apparently OPM is much slower now than they were in those days, though.

Another good resource for talking to other federal employees and retirees about details of federal retirement and disability is the forum at www.federalsoup.com
