Hey everyone,
Long timers may recognize me. I live in Chicago am 27 and working towards a retirement by 40, 35 would be ideal but a range is OK for now. I work in Banking and it pays the nills and allows me to work towards my ultimate goal which is all I can say about it.
I've made some mistakes along the way as many of you know with spending like a machine but am back on track.
My most aggressive move to date will be to relocate apartmets to a tiny little place at half the cost in August. This will allow me to live on 50% of my take home pay and save the rest.
I am a couch potatoe guy primarily relying on VTSMX as my strategy but do enjoy learning all the different ways people go about managing their money.
Anyhow, good to see this is a Forum format, hopefully we can get everyone over here.
