Hello,
I am a 59 year old Christian widow from North Carolina.I have 2 children and 4 Grandchildren. I have a question I hope someone can answer for me. I was married to my second husband for almost 3 years when he passed away.When I am 60 will I be able to draw off of his social security. He was retired on disability when he died,but he worked most of his life.

AnnabellesNC, the best place to find answers to your question is the SS website. If you take a look here, it appears the answer is yes.

Thanks so much for the info.I don't know why I have had such a hard time finding the answer I needed.My daughter says its because I am impatient and don't read all that I should.
