Well - about time for a name change. Gave notice 2 months ago and start the communication process to team tomorrow. Last day is end of June. This handling was at bosses direction. I wanted to give team more public notice, but didn't want to extend last day any further into summer. Can't help it took boss a while to get organized even though he is deploying my transition strategy.

Emotions aren't as strong as mega-corp stress, but definitely cover a broad spectrum. Feeling a bit selfish I'm leaving my team, but trying to remember its for my sanity and to prioritize family. Also feel very grateful to have ability to RE at 47.

Should be an interesting couple days.
