Hi, 3 yrs from next transition

Hi all,

To introduce myself - I am 53 and plan to transition to a new career in 3 years. I have a pension that will pay about 80k per year, fully indexed, full medical, just over $1m spread over various index funds including about 40 percent large caps, 25p mid cap, 25p Intl, 10 p bonds and cash. 90 % in tax sheltered vehicles. I know I am light in bonds and compared to usual models but do not plan to make significant investment withdrawal until 62.

House in the States to be paid off in 6 months and no other bills.
I live overseas at the moment and would like to do so for at least half the time.

I am OK I think financially, but am a little concerned about the transition - specifically locating top flight agencies that specialize in placing executive 1-2 yr contracts with U.S./EU companies in Europe or Asia.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!
