So my last day is Thursday. Last week during some company events I was asked to give a speech which I did. Was a very hard thing to do. No one has retired from here before and many great memories.
My CEO, management team and department taking me to dinner at a very nice restaurant tonight.
One surprise is they are saying they are unilaterally extending my participation in the equity comp plan. It could pay me a substantial sum but I am willing to leave it on the table. That would certainly be icing on the cake.
It seems to be working out better than I had hoped.
