Hi new to forum

Been lurking and dreaming here for sometime now, glad to
have found this place, lots of helpful info, THANKS to ALL that
make that possible.

I'am 43 and have worked for the same company 22 years shortly
after starting there the company moved from a yearly bonus plan
to an esop and 401k plan with a dollar for dollar company match
me being only 22-23 years old at the time was not a happy employee,
eventually one of the older guys that i looked up to talked me into contributing saying what a great deal this could be later in life. I'm glad I took his advice.
These plans have balloned to over $1,000,000 am at this time exploring the posibility of retiring in mid july. This is a big step and a little scary, lots of things to figure out before then, im sure there will many questions over the next couple weeks.
