Howdy...

Hello...I am 38 and just retired in May, 2010. I was military and have a very comfortable living money wise. I am also very injured with 3 fusions in my back, 2 herniated discs and one blown disc, so I am limited to what I do for fun. I am bored as hell and trying to figure out what to do...I'll explore the threads to see what others say before I post...cool?

Welcome to the board, SG777, we have several military retirees here and a few with disability ratings.

When the novelty of reading these threads wears thin, I recommend a copy of Ernie Zelinski's "How to Retire Happy, Wild, & Free", especially his "Get-A-Life Tree" for activities/interests brainstorming.

You're probably far ahead of the rest of us on the military medical aspects, but you may want to try these as well:

My next suggestion would be swimming or some other water activity, but I'm not sure that you're in exactly the world's best location for that...
