New to Forum - Hello.....

Been reading the posts here for past two weeks and found the forum thru real estate bubble blog.

Appreciate the comments and information from the participants.

50 year old working toward the FIRE status... two years til the son is out of college.

Anyway wanted to come out from behind the curtain and wish all well.

Welcome.

Is there a blog just for the real estate bubble? At www.realestatebubble.com?

Does anyone remember if there was this much discussion of the tech bubble before it burst?

Thanks and welcome. The people that lurk in the shadows scare me.

Al - yes there was! Usually when people are really comfortable talking about a bubble is when it pops.

TK - welcome aboard...we had been told to ignore that guy behind the curtain, so its good that your out.

Welcome. TK.

Here is another link about the real-estate bubble:
http://www.smartmoney.com/consumer/i...story=20050527

It says that prices will continue to rise despite rises in interest rate. However, if the bubble ever bursts, the decline will be in the 20 to 30% range.

That pic of Nick Nolte scares me. He and Gary Busey are
the wild men of my generation, along with all of
The Rolling Stones
