Retirement

Hi, I just retired less than a month ago from the military after serving 26 years. Looking to retire in Panama with my pension and disability.

Welcome to the forum HPD. Congratulations on your retirement and thank you for your service. How did you decide on Panama for your retirement location?

I have a long-time good friend who is retired in Panama & loves it. You couldn't drag him away...he's been there for a number of years. I've been to visit, and am planning to visit again very soon. He's in Nuevo Emperador, if you happen to know where that is. The fishing ' s great in the Canal & Gatun. If my wife would go along with it, I'd be there as well! Alas, it's not to be, though....so I guess I'll have to settle for periodic visits. I know you're gonna love it there.
