This is a great site for me to learn about the retirement related info & issue.
I'm 65, will be 66 in August 21, 2012, planning to stop working early next year 2013. Spouse is already stop working 2 years ago, a breast cancer survivor 10 years ago, receiving pension monthly. She's 60 & will be 61 in June 2012.

I will use this thread as an education for my retirement preparation. Please give me advise "Do" & "Don't" for my future journey together with my wife. I'm prepared to share my present situation on the family & financial status as needed. Thanks for the great info in the forum for continue learning.

Welcome leongs! I'm sure you will find this forum very interesting and informative. A really great site for questions and answers pertaining to investing. If you can't find it here, you can't find it anywhere. Congrats to your DW for being a cancer survivor. My DW has been clean since 1986. I can't help with anything in the investment field as I am strictly into CD's. When you reach 76, you're not looking for opportunities, you're looking for safety.

Best wishes and I'm sure you will enjoy your time on the forum.
