You mean to tell us we're going to have to go through this nonsense again in 2407? Count me out...

So, the key question now is, why didn't the world end. Was it something we did, or something we didn't do? Can we repeat it? Who was responsible? How much does it cost?

So many unanswered questions.

Well, folks, the fact that I am still able to make this post simply means that the "greater being" decided to keep his simulation running a bit longer, instead of hitting Ctrl-Alt-Del.

See: Our Universe Might Only Be Ones and Zeroes?.

Meanwhile, I also woke up to see the indices now share the color of the new avatars of our distinguished panel. Yep, I told ya so. That on top of the recent "Wh***" means that we may just suffer in this imaginary world a little longer, instead of it vanishing.

I'd like to know who scheduled the Apocalypse on a Friday? That's just poor planning. A Monday would be better, imo....

Maybe we have to wait. From what I can find the further point west relative to the International Date Line is the Midway Islands. While it is 9:14 pm ET right now in Midway it is 3:14 pm on 12/21/2012. So maybe there is still time for doom and gloom?

Current local time in Midway Islands (U.S.)

Naaah. The Goonie Birds are standing guard on Midway to ward off any Mayan madness...

Since it's the day after the apocalypse, do you think we might be the ones that were left behind? Hmmmmm.
