On his moving day I made a large pot of chili, he ate here and then took home enough leftovers for at least 2 dinners. I gave him a goody basket of all kinds of groceries that I had in duplicates and a going away 12 pack of toilet paper and a 6 pack of Bounty paper towels. He appreciates those things more than beer!
I went into his empty room and just thought about what a fun kid he was to raise. And how fast this whole family raising adventure has passed. Good times.
And now we get to go back to just us two, and the cat.
