A new twist on the Nigerian e-mail...

I'm rich! Who wants to partner up with me?

From "Dr_alex_smith007@yahoo.co.uk":
"Gooday,
My name is Dr Alex Smith, a private war consultant to American and British
Soldiers currently serving in Iraq. I am contacting you on behalf of two
American soldiers who during the operation capture Saddam had a Golden
opportunity to move $25,000,000.00 (Twenty Five million US dollars) belonging to
Saddam Government. This money has being kept in a safe Security House.

Click on this link to read about event that took place
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/2988455.stm.

Basically these two soldiers are still serving in Iraq. Therefore, getting the
total funds into United States by the soldier is virtually NOT possible. Hence
the reason, I have been requested by them to contact some I can trust on their
behalf to help get the funds out, for safe keeping in United States. Your Role
is to assists in having the funds get to United state or a safety country where
it will be invested and managed on their behalf by you. Also it is imperative to
let you know that this deal is hitch free.

Please if you are interested get back to me ASAP for more details and the
Procedures of the transaction. If otherwise, please discard this email.

Your urgent response is been waited.

Dr Alex"

Note the sophisticated sprinkling of grammatical errors to convince us that he really is a credible consultant to English-speaking military...

How can people believe this stuff?

Humans some are brighter than others some are just taken so advantage of that these morons in Nigeria should be hunted down and hurt.

How much would this amount of US currency weigh (I assume it is US currency and not gold or Iraq currency)? Whatever it weighs, those two soldiers are amazingly strong guys in order to move it all (undetected) to Security House in addition to their soldiering duties. Must have moved it on their day off.

Yeah, just like Kelly's Heroes smuggled all that gold out of Germany during WWII.
