A request to the moderators

A Schizophrenic Xmas

Light Greg: I think it’d be nice to have Xmas decorations on the board, don’t you? We should have little candy canes, bulbs with ribbons, little Rudolfs and pictures of elves, and maybe a picture of a fireplace with stockings and a tree next to it, with the fire sending out little digits of warmth to all the visitors here. It would sure be a nice, soothing, and festive addition to our favorite visiting place. Well?

Dark Greg: Baaa, Humbug!

LG: Why do you always behave this way, Dark Greg?

DG: OK, OK, how about instead we just change someone else’s topic start a new thread where we can post pictures of . . . ummm . . . Santa’s Favorite Little Helpers, wearing little, skimpy red outfits and maybe high heels and black ny . . . .

LG: That would be wrong! Because not everybody here would enjoy that. Some of the folks don’t even enjoy the dirty talk threads.

DG: But some of them do.

LG: Well our job is to make everyone feel better about Xmas, create an atmosphere of joy and positive social interaction.

DG: So, I should suppress my favorite parts? . . . . How about mistletoe placed on various strategic parts of Santa’s helpers? Or, maybe we could play “pin the mistletoe on the . . . .”

LG: Quit going off-topic.

DG: I y’am what I y’am.

LG: Don’t start with Popeye crapola either; it’s not the right time of year. We have enough other problems with your imaginary worlds.

DG: Ok, you ask the moderators if your idea about decorations is possible. But if they say “no” then we should still do the “Santa’s Little Helpers” thread. We’ll spring it on them late one nite while they’re asleep with their spouses (well, most of them anyway). I’ll start working on it--Right Now.

LG: So, moderators, could we get a few Xmas decorations added to the board?

I suggest bourbon and Xanax. You won't be cured but you
will feel a lot better about being screwed up.

Wow: Pay attention to Appoclypse Now post.

(All of the very young posters that want to retire early.)

If you don't have something that you have a passion to do, work might not be a bad alternative.

Martha: Don't quit!

How bout a few dripping cold 6 pacs of Corona??* Put a ribbon on them if you must. 8)
And Greg, you can have my share of little Rudolfs, candy canes and elves.* Umm, hold that thought on the elves. Didn't Heather Locklear get her start as an elf? :
