Re: AAAAaaahhhh!

Unfortunately the nausea continues to send me to the kitchen every 2-3 hours. Other than that and some sore feet and occasional bemoaning about increasing sizes of this and that, its been ok. In fact, the increasing size of some things is actually pretty good!

A ready stock of snacks, some orthopedic shoes, and it seems under control.

The good news is the bulk of the latter pregnancy will be in the winter, and our winters are 60 degrees with a little rain. We had snow once. Once. About seven years ago the temps dropped and we got two inches that stuck only to the grass for about an hour. Kinda cute. No blizzards though.

Thanks for all the thoughts, except those ones about the hampster.

We used to say "needledick the bug #%$#-er"...

Re: AAAAaaahhhh!

My kid was head-to-the-camera for her first ultrasound, and with arms and legs sticking out in all directions, she resembled nothing so much as a turtle.

She looked better by the time she came out, though, and looks utterly stunning now, at merely 15. Hard shell and scaly feet all gone.

Re: AAAAaaahhhh!

We got looked at towards the end of the ultrasound session. He was flipping around in there like an acrobat and towards the end he looked right at us. "Can you turn that thing off and quit lookin' at me!?!"

Also, please dont send me any more photos of your daughter. Explaining to your pregnant wife that the reason why I have pictures of a teenaged girl in my mailbox is because somebody I know from an early retirement web site sent them to me flies like a lead baloon... :P

Re: AAAAaaahhhh!

Now, you KNOW I haven't sent you any more of those!

Those other pictures on your computer will have to be explained in some other way. . .

:P

It appears we're having a boy
This remindes me of a simpsons episode.... most things in life do.....

Hibbert: Congratulations, Mr. Simpson: you have a beautiful, healthy baby.

Homer: OK. [makes thumbs up sign]
[Maggie grabs the thumb with her tiny hand] Huh?

Marge: Homey, I think someone is saying "Hello".

Homer: Hello. Aw, it's a boy -- and WHAT a boy!

Hibbert: Er, that's the umbilical cord. It's a girl.

For those of you who don't watch the simpsons... sorry, but I couldn't resist....
