Amazon Locker Delivery
I noticed that often Amazon will offer 2 day delivery to my apartment, but maybe 4 or 5 day to a locker. The locker is only 3 blocks away, so what gives?
My assumption is that it is a scheduling issue- their computer knows that it is likely that no locker will be available for 2 day delivery. Sometimes another locker nearby, but perhaps not in such a dense residential neighborhood, may offer quicker delivery.
I usually prefer locker delivery since I don't wish to try to be home to receive the package, but if I need whatever it is quickly I will just go with home delivery.
Is this likely due to locker availability, or is there some other explanation?
