Ameriprise hits affluent clients with new fees - Investment News

So..........charge their own BEST clients an extra fee? What bean-counter that never sat down in front of a client dreamed that up?

But note that the $500k and ups won't see any fees...so they've got that going for them.

If most of us here have much to say about it, hopefully they'll realize that some of their "competitors" are also places like Vanguard, Schwab and Fidelity...

Awww, you all are beeing very harsh. Poor Ameriprise just needs to increase earnings like many other struggling companies do these days....

Ameriprise 2q profit nearly triples - BusinessWeek
