I got a email from Apple today saying my billing address was updated by someone this morning. It gave me a link to change my password if I didn't do it. I didn't use that link, but I did go to Apple site using a different computer to login and changed my password. Did I do something wrong?

When you logged in at the Apple site did you check to see if your billing address had been changed?

This happened to me on EBay. They detected the error and cancelled the sale on one of the items purchased fraudulently. When I logged on there was still a bogus shipping address along with the correct one. I deleted the bogus address but it took more calls to cancel the other purchase. I'm not sure how the scammer expected the payment would occur. Maybe they thought I would just click "pay now" when the invoice arrived? It was two separate purchases for ~$600.
