I'm sitting in my comfy recliner on the mend from the knee replacement. The knee gets better each day - the PT says I'm doing great with range of motion. Ive actually slept thru the night a couple of times, albeit with the assist of a couple of glasses of red wine... no more hydro morphine..

I got to thinking now that number 2 has graduated HS and my knee soon will be recovered the possibilities are endless. It is almost overwhelming...

What I am thinking is If I see or hear about a snow get in the car and beat it south with the Mrs and the old pooch in tow.

I think I'm worried all the choices could lead to failure to launch...

Congrats on the improving knee. Having that behind you and getting the DS out of high school will open a whole new world for you.

My wife is facing mid foot fusion surgery 8/2017, and that means 7 weeks off the foot. I told her she needs to go ahead and start practicing with crutches. What we need is a good electric wheelchair.

I better get practicing on doing laundry--up to her standards. I can handle the cooking, however.

Just like the song?

I'm going where the sun keeps shining
Through the pouring [-] rain[/-] snow
Going where the weather suits my clothes.
