Another "Friendly" Call from Chase.........

Another call from Chase:

Me: Hello
Chase: Is this Scott _____?
Me: Yes, it is.
Chase: We're calling about your Susan's account. I see in our file you are the executor.
Me: Yes, I am.
Chase: YOU NEED to pay this account. How are you planning to handle this?
Me: Through my attorney, like I told the lady on X-MAS EVE!!!
Chase: Well, this is ABOUT BUSINESS, and the fact you owe Chase a fairly large balance.
Me: Is this a threat, or shall I consider it harassment?
Chase: Well, Mr. _____, as the surviving SPOUSE, it is your duty to work with us so YOUR credit does not suffer further damage.............
Me: I am going to speak SLOWLY.............I AM HER BROTHER!!!!!!!!!
Chase: I guess this conversation's OVER, then...............and he HANGS UP!!!!

Chase never got it with me, either. I never understood why they turned down my initial home mortgage application, and then turned around and started sending me pre-approved credit cards... followed by, none other than... pre-approved refinance applications!
