Any apps to contact local police?

I am doing more traveling and was wondering if there any apps that will give me the phone number or help me contact the local police (at their non-emergency number) wherever I am located? Seems like something like this should be available. Thanks.

Where are you traveling?

The Smart Traveler app from the US State Department will give you the address and phone number of all US embassies and consulates in other countries.

I thought growing old would take longer.

Google does work (just tried it for my local police), but I wonder why, while traveling, you would want to contact the police for anything non-emergent? If an emergency, I think 911 is pretty much universal in the U.S.. If I don't have an emergency, I don't really want to be in contact with the police.

My travel insurance annual plan thru Allianz has an app. When you open it, wherever you are, the local emergency numbers are on the first screen.
