A possible glitch in my participating... I "tweaked" my back earlier today... I swung my foot up onto a golf bag stand to make it easier to tie and did something... painful now... but I have done something similar before and sometimes it goes away in a day or two.... so in NFL speak I am "questionable"... I'm hoping that with a day and a half of rest I'll be comfortable with the idea of a couple hours in a car to make it to the meet.

I think I'll know more in 24 hours.

Hope you're feeling better. It would be great if you can make it. I've often found that a liberal application of alcohol (taken internally) can act as a decent muscle relaxer.

Thanks. Already tried that... Helped some. Hot showers help too.

Based on how I feel this morning I think it is more likely than not that I will attend. I'll make a final decision tomorrow morning.

So sorry to hear about your back. It is crazy how easy it is to flare one's back up. Been there, done that! Hope it feels better soon!

Hey, this should work out just fine: simple girl is a physical therapist and you have a bad back. Match made in heaven. You can get a massage as Harley watches while eating and drinking his lunch.

Yes, definitely. Of course you will have to put in some real effort to beat this photo from the last E-R.org meet up in Florida. LBYM for sure...

Thanks. It is still tender but not so bad that I will miss the meetup. Hope you don't mind the aroma of Ben-Gay.

Hey, I'm on my way, but I'm stuck behind a driver who has hit, what seems to be every red light. She's always first in line at the red, and when the light changes, it appears she counts to three before she moves out. To make matters worse, the drivers in the two cars behind me seem to becoming more and more agitated. They're yelling out their windows about how much fuel this is costing them, but, they are not putting a number on it.

Hope everything is ok!

We missed you, but yes hopefully we can meet up another time.

Today was so fun. It was great to bring these online characters to life. And yes, some are definitely characters!

Let me know of the next SW Florida get together. Will be retiring in April 2018. Already have a condo on Marco Island that I hope to experience a lot more often starting next year.

We had a lively gathering of 6 ER folks on a beautiful 84-degree day along the Peace River in Florida. What a fun group. It's been a while since I laughed so much. The conversation covered a multitude of ER topics, much like on the forum (from mortgages to dryer sheets...and a whole lot more).

Sorry, redduck, that you didn't make it in time, but after a couple of hours, we got tired of waiting and headed home.

And here's the requisite photo of the flip flop gang (clockwise, starting with the guy in the hat)...harley, pb4uski, Bigcmagor, Lagniappe, Simple Girl, and me.

See y'all next season. (You too, moemg.)
