Hum, I knew about the privacy settings but I wasn't aware of the friends lists feature actually... I'll look it up. Thanks!

i do not tweet...i don't get why people would want to know the mundane things about my day.

I know some people tweet to rant, essentially (but believe they are being "heard" by all those people following them) - but forums like these seem more effective and you get some real back and forth...heeh

I've never blogged, tweeted (?), or had my "twits" archived.
Can I still reside on planet Earth?
I had someone I've never met in person send me a LinkedIn request to my home email. She is a friend of a friend who had my email address in his email distribution list for funnies and news about him and his GF. I just ignored the email.

Have sorta kinda thought about blogging.

Have twittered on PC but apparently my cell can't handle it.

Am also writing essays and such with the thought of maybe writing a book.

Even if nothing comes of any of the above, it's good mental exercise.

I got a friend request for Facebook from someone I've known for 30 years. There was nothing there except links to people who just became her friends, no baby photos yet. I decided not to be her friend there after all, just leave it in the real world. Strikes me as obnoxious to go there, see her friends, some of whom I know in real life, and be told that the friends of my friend are not my friend (yet).
This thing started out as a way for college kids to get laid, so it's vitally important to see all of your friends' other friends. Who knows? Maybe one of them will be drunk enough after a party to go home with you.
