Apple sued by man for causing his porn addiction
Chris Sevier, Tennessee Man, Suing Apple For Letting Him Access Porn
Chris Sevier, a suspended lawyer in Tennessee, is suing Apple because he became addicted to porn while using an Apple computer to surf for porn. He accuses Apple. because the MacBook has no adult materials filter, of enabling unfair competition between porn actresses and his wife:
"UNFAIR COMPETITION AND INTERFERENCE OF THE MARITAL CONTRACT: The Plaintiff became totally out of synch in his romantic relationship with his wife, which was a consequence of his use of his Apple product. The Plaintiff began desiring, younger more beautiful girls featured in porn videos than his wife, who was no longer 21 ..."

I am suing GE for my alcohol addiction. The fridge they manufactured stored and chilled the beer I drink too many of. The company enabled an unfair competition between well chilled beer and tap water.

I didn't need Apple to become addicted to porn.
Oh wait, it was Apple that got me addicted. Damn you Steve Job and Woz! I had a PowerPC Apple and I was using Apple's internet service, EWORLD, back in 1993 and they are charging me $3.99 a hour to download GIF. It took 30 minutes to download one pic, but it was well worth it. My addiction was so bad, I spent $2k one month for ISP fee.
Is this a class action? I think he should make it a class action so we can all get a piece of the settlement.

I got the feeling as a former lawyer he filed the suit himself.
If he was seeking publicist, pretty sure he achieved is goal. Money well LOL
I loved how Huff Post served up 4 porn star stories next to this story... at least for me..

Must be the same guy that sued GM some time ago for polluting all 50 states. A judge dismissed that suit...........

Question for the lawyers on the forum. What would happen if the Apple legal dept simply ignored this absurd lawsuit? Presumably most judges would throw it out pretty quickly.
Normally I don't favor the British system where the loser pays the winners legal bills, but in this case....

I think I'll sue the Aztecs for inventing chocolate, and maybe the medeval Arabs, for good measure, for having invented ice cream. It's all their fault I can't stop eating these foods.
