I can't say who the famous person is that I'm related to in a public forum I can't risk people who know me real life to figure out my handle on this site. Not like I said anything bad about my employer or anything....

Yep, that's the problem with this question. If you are even moderately famous or closely related to somebody who is/was famous, you'll think twice before blowing your cover. Especially after posting your income, NW, and other dirty laundry

Working in L.A. as a kid, I got odd jobs on the edge of the movie business. Back then cell phones were a big deal. Delivered phones on the set of movies for Demi Moore, a couple others.

Hung out at a party with Christian Slater, stuff like that.

Used to think it was cool until I started working at my current job. My lead has met the last four Presidents and Colin Powell. Kind of puts the "I met 6 cast memebers from Star Trek, the next generation" into perspective!

About the closest thing to fame I can claim is that my car was in a movie with Don Cheadle. Last weekend they did some filming for a movie called "Talk To Me" about a local radio talk show host/civil rights activist named Petey Greene. It took place in the 60's, 70's, and 80's, and they needed people with old cars to use as background vehicles.

There's a scene in it that's supposed to take place in 1982, where Don Cheadle is walking along the Mall between the Capitol and the Washington Monument, near the Smithsonian Carousel. In the background you might be able to see my burgundy 1976 LeMans parked at the curb, with a Trans Am, a Firebird, and a Mustang behind it, and a Pinto driving past.

Probably not too representative of 1982, as most people had ditched their bruiser LeMans class cars and guzzling 70's ponycars for more fuel-efficient models. Heck, I remember my Mom ditching a '75 LeMans for a 1980 Malibu, and my grandparents going from a '72 Impala to an '82 Malibu wagon. But I guess for this movie, they had to work with what they had!

I did go to high school with Sela Ward. She appeared in a couple of tv series and several movies. As kids, she would visit a girl next door and we would all play ping pong. Wish I could say spin the bottle.**
