Artificial Intelligence - potential threat?
It seems that Elon Musk is raising some questions regarding how human beings develop and control very advanced forms of artificial intelligence. He is not the first. Stephen Hawking has done the same. Apparently, Google has set up an ethics board to look at it's development of AI. Is that good enough?

Sounds like a good book but not available at my library yet. I suspect the possibility of problems is significant long term but I am not holding my breath that we will see any real threat in my lifetime. Maybe we will just end up uploading our brain patterns to super-intelligent neural nets and transition to a new synthetic life form like Kurzweil theorizes.
