Awesome vintage pinup collection

Shades of the old mechanic's calendars. Maybe they are 40s or 50s vintage, but isn't great art timeless?

That brings to mind the old aircraft nose art of WWII. I ran across the wife of the (now deceased) pilot who painted a lot of these pinups, and she gave me a CD filled with photos of his nose art. It's a real collector's item. Here is a link with just a few of the photos:

Those girls remind me of how awful I felt when some A-Hole invented panty-hose and suddenly there were no more beautiful legs in garter belts and stockings.

I still suffer when I think of it.

Ha

That's what I want. A housekeeper in a little French maid outfit. That could really get me interested in housework.

I once - only once - suggested to DW she'd be attractive in a outfit like that. The silence was deafening. Oops.

Why would she NOT wear an outfit like that? I imagine it would get her out of the task at hand (housecleaning) for at least a little while! (hmmm, there is an idea....oh, I don't clean BF's house!)

I remember seeing the Ridgid Tool Calendars when I was young. Many of the pictures were quite suggestive like this one.

And with a business name like Ridgid Tool you would have expected....what?

BTW - outstanding tools for the plumbing trade - own one of their motorized drain snakes and some aluminium wrenchs by them.

Based on the subject of this thread, for some reason I read that as "aluminum wenches"
