Watched Pip hatch out yesterday morning on the web cam (with the help of Dad and his daughters and a leatherman tool) and keep checking back in - she (?) needs a baby chick or two added to keep the loneliness away.

I didn't use a webcam but did hatch/raise some baby emu's this past spring.
Well, maybe I should say the mother and father birds did. I mostly observed and enjoyed the action.
