Any last minute warnings for dh2b from the guys ?

this is freaking ridiculous - TIFR - BA-K-47

Some bad language in the comments section but still worth reading I think.

Bacon: the Other White Heat | Popular Science

You know bacon is delicious, but did you know it contains enough energy to melt metal? . . .

Grease-Fire.jpg

"Bacon is fattening because it contains a lot of chemical energy tied up in its proteins, and especially in its fat. You can release that energy either by digesting it or by burning it with a healthy supply of oxygen. The challenge isn't creating the heat; it's engineering a bacon structure strong enough to withstand the stress of a 5,000F bacon plasma flame.
I used prosciutto . . ."

DIY the Emeril way. No chemicals.
Making Bacon : Misc : Recipes | emerils.com

What the heck...I just might try this.

I wonder if my mom-n-pop butcher shop can order some pork belly for me. There is an abundance of wild "scrub" apple trees in my local area, so I can get my hands on some applewood very easily. I have a nice outdoor fireplace that will work perfectly to grill it.

It puts a new twist on this concept

My guess is that would be the case. However, I'm just waiting for the bacon to fall off!
