bank robbery

i am watching the news and a bank got robbed. if a bank can't hold all the money in there accounts do they send it to another bank?

If you look at the balance sheet of most banks, they hold surprisingly little cash. Most of it is in loans, securities, etc. Any bank that holds a lot of cash is hurting its profitability.

Some of the small local banks actually run out of cash sometimes and have to place an order to have more delivered intraday.
