Re: Been holding out on getting winXP?

I have Windows XP Home on my computer. I like it
fine. Today my wife bought (garage sale) a PC with
Windows 98, keyboard, mouse, laser printer, surge
protector, extra wires, extra games, etc for $30.
I was going to buy it but she beat me to it .

Re: Been holding out on getting winXP?

My wife wanted to upgrade from Win2K to XP for the media player features or something. * *That's one of the reasons I recently bought a refurb'd desktop from Dell. * For $300, I got XP, a 3GHz P4, 512MB RAM, a Radeon 9800 Pro, an Audigy 2, a 60GB disk, a DVD-ROM, and a box to put it all in.

It was a screaming deal. *I'm happy as a clam. *My wife got her XP, and I got my Doom-3 box *
