I've got Michelin LTX MS on my truck right now, and they ride great, are quiet, and from the looks of it, may just last forever...
(super rating in all categories at Tire Rack), but they weren't cheap.
On the Porsche I ran the Kumho Ecstas and they were terrific (for the money), since I ran a soft compound and knew I would replace often.
It's all about choices!
