You know the joke about Halloween at a nudist colony naturist camp, "a daub of paint here, a daub there." No, I don't have any photos.

I could get into that tradition of shot glasses or for us frugal types, glasses of two buck chuck.

Just half Greek, guys.
But enough to summon up the ancient gods of my ancestors.

Years ago when I was ambitious, rigged a net in front of and above the door with loops on solenoids' plungers.

A solenoid is a gizmo, when energized pulls a metal rod into a coil of wire, thereby releasing whatever was hanging on said metal rod.

When the unsuspecting tricksters rang the bell, the solenoids released the net, enveloping them.

The shrieks were priceless.

Good one.

One Halloween DW and I went to my cousins party. Went to the wrong house. Had a few drinks and left after we figured it out. Got to cousins and didn't talk to anyone. Took em an hour to figure out who we were.

Good costumes. Sorry, no pics.

An excellent write-up about the history of Halloween is here.
Halloween - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I just received Vincent Price's House of Wax from Netflix. We have 3D glasses, hopefully the right ones.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/House_of_Wax_(1953_film)

I won't be costuming this year.
But I will be feasting on juicy red meat that night.
Mwah ha haaaaaaaa
