Best obnoxious responses to misspellings on Facebook

This is worth a five minute read if you want a good chuckle to forget about health care and deficits. My favorite is the guy posting from the hospital:

Robby: at the hospitel n my grandpa is still sick n i have 2 watch him ****ing a man tonite is gunna suck

Mason: Hey Robby, I think a comma would help here.

Robby: Dats ****ed up man my granpa already sick and the last thing
he need is to be put in a comma **** u man

Cool. I didn't realize the forum automatically ****'s out the F word. As I hit submit I started to worry that I might be violating forum rules.

I really dislike this sort of mechanical censorship. On another forum, I tried to refer to Dick Van Dyke, and the "Dyke" part was ****'d. So silly. I wonder what will happen here. (Edit: So far, so good.)

It could just as well have "docked the dick" (2 points for spotting the reference there) and left you with "**** van ****".

I remember seeing a few years ago about how a group of breast cancer specialists on Compuserve had to use the term "hooter cancer" because every other word for that part of the anatomy got censored.

Plenty more great examples here.

I guess I hijacked my own thread. On another topic did anyone like the Facebook exchanges?

I used to know a guy who's last name was Laycock. Spam filters deleted his emails with great regularity.

Those of you who know my last name can imagine my experience with auto spell correctors. Makes me long for the days of my maiden name. And yes, I love those exchanges!

Good to see that moderator = censor. Charming.

It's that First Amendment-discussion board confusion factor.

For a true censor-free experience there's always Greaney's REHP or El Supremo's No-Fee Boards. Oh, wait, ***** and a lack of censorship moderation killed those boards. Never mind.

Interestingly there are only a few words that are plugged into the cuss filter here. Of the total five, 2 are related to an infamous poster whos name causes moderators and many members to leave the building. The other three are the predictable 4 letter variety.
