I just used the "Find My Phone" to locate my tablet. It is an Iphone/Ipad feature. I use this several times a year for either my phone or tablet. I don't know if this is available on Android or not, but this feature alone makes the Apple OS worth it! My phone slips out of my pocket into the crease in a chair or couch. I can have my wife call my phone, but not my tablet.

I use Tapatalk on my Kindle Fire for this forum. That said, the Kindle is frustrating and I'll go with a stock Android tablet when I replace the Fire.

I love my Kindle Fire 8.9" but I would not recommend it as a PC replacement.
