Born Free

I have 1 more week of work in 2011 then its 2 weeks vacation
(only my 2nd 2 week vac. in 31 years) a week in the Caribbean and a
couple of days at the beach. I am ready to get use to it!

For the first time in my life I feel like I see the finish line somewhere up ahead.
for so long it seemed to be a moving target. Just like this vacation that was months and months away on my calendar. Now I am packing for it!
so many Mondays that Friday seemed a million miles away
made to many adjustments to their schedule to their needs
not mine.
Starting to see this light break through .....
kept listening to the same song last night
this one verse seemed to stick out

Calm, facing danger,
Lost like an unknown stranger,
Grateful, for my time with no regrets.
Close to my destination,
Tired, frail and achin',
Waitin' patiently for the sun to set.

And when it's done believe that I
Will yell it from that mountain highhh!

[Chorus:]
I was born free!
I was booooooorn free
I was born free, born free.
