Box Subscription Services
This kind of service has no appeal to me at all, but evidently it is gaining popularity to many folks. I have yet to identify a need for someone who sends me a box of stuff on a regular basis. My hat is off those risk-takers who have entered this market after finding a need for the service that they provide.

Box subscription services have been trending upward for nearly ten years. Subscription boxes combine a desire for curated goods with the convenience of home delivery. In most cases, the subscription is delivered at agreed upon times with items that either the customer has selected specifically or have been selected for the consumer through the use of a survey.

We use them for gifts within the family - have had good success with socks, bacon, cheese for example.

DD gets a box of new clothes every month. She loves the service, the clothes, and the price. She probably keeps less than half however. Shipping and returns are free. She initially went through a website clicking on the types of clothing she was interested in. They use that information plus the record of what she actually keeps/buys to send her new items.
She's a teacher with a second job and is too busy to shop for clothes. But she likes to wear nice clothes and takes great pride in her appearance. She tells me it's very exciting when a new box is waiting on her doorstep.
I don't think I would ever do something like this for myself, but I "get" the appeal for someone like my daughter.

Community Supported Agriculture: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commun...ed_agriculture Never tried it but it looks interesting. I think boxes are picked up at designated spots rather than being individually delivered.

We did that in a DIY way once. Twelve wrapped presents and told DD to open one each month.
