Burned up the modem

I have been having slow response time during that last month or so. I called roadrunner (Time-Warner) and they came out today and replaced the modem. It happened so slowly that I did not even notice it. Now it all goes so damn fast...

Anyone else here ever burnt up a modem before?

Well, that would make it a full time job wouldn't it? And since I'm ERd, it could not possibly be the 55 hours per week occasional accidental viewing of selected obscure web sites now could it?
