Carpe diem

My old boss just died. He was still working. (He did die rich, though. )

I am older than he was. I can't afford to stop working yet.

Be aware, grasshopper, that we know not when our time comes.

If ER is important to you, do not delay. Focus and act when you can.

I have outlived most of the people I don't like and I am working on the rest.

Similar story, my ex-boss is still at the desk at 67. He is worth about $12-14 million and could have easily retired 10-15 years earlier but it is all about money.

His beloved wife, loved to travel and wanted him to retire but sadly she just passed away. He has been asked to retire recently and appears to have either had a nervous breakdown or perhaps a sudden onset of senility. Hard to tell.

EDITED: He has no heirs.

Make hay while the sun shines.
