Castro's sister worked with the CIA - Good read!

It has come out in her new memoir that Fidel Castro's sister worked with the CIA. I can't explain it any better than she has in this article. Thought it was really interesting and many might enjoy this:

Fascinating peek into history, Orchidflower! I sent the link to Frank since he is interested in Cuban history, and I thought he would be interested. Thanks.

Yes, an interesting story. I never heard that Castro had a sister in the country. I remember when Stalin's daughter, Svetlana Alliluyeva, fled to the U.S. in the 60's full of personal insights into some of the horrors wrought by her father.

I remember reading years ago that Castro's sister was quoted as saying that when they were children Fidel always had to be the leader/boss in any games they played. Guess his dominant tendencies lead to just being an overbearing tyrant or an insecure one who had to control others in the hopes he wouldn't lose his control. Interesting insight into the Castro familia I thought.
