Your girls are beautiful! I always loved calicos. Congratulations.
One of my first cats (1975), adopted from a county shelter, was a calico. At the shelter she was cowering in her litter box, looking awful and due for euthanasia in a day or so. I didn't make a decision until I drove all the way home and then I turned around and went back and adopted her right before they closed.
We named her Pumpkin and she was a sweet, loving companion for many years. Outdoors she would tease the blue jays and catch one when they dove at her. Then she'd proudly carry it up the stairs to our apartment and present it as a gift. Indoors she was a regal lady who loved to pose for pictures and sleep in the sun.
