Cold Spring NY, pics

took a ride to the village of cold spring in the lower hudson valley of ny state today.. what a nice picturesque little village sitting right on the hudson river. very artsey and full of antiques. kind of like greenich village in the 60's without the drugs.

Please consider adopting a rescue animal. So very many need a furr-ever home and someone to love them! And if we all spay/neuter our pets there won't be an overpopulation to put to death.

No Drugs? That's because we took them all back in the '70s. I grew up there before it was "artsy" and was just a hole. I spent 19 years in that town. I was born in the now-closed hospital and went to school for 19 years in the same building with the same principal. I used to hear West Point's cannons every morning.

I was just up there a couple of months ago to help my siblings clean out my recently passed away Dad's house out on Rt 9.

Did you cross the river at Bear Mountain? That's quite a view, too.
