Crush Arcade Ads (not on our forum)
About a month ago I went looking for a new game to play on the internet. Unfortunately I seemed to have downloaded a virus that is giving me lots of CrushArcade advertisements and underlining words in places I frequent that link advertisements. I tried using an ad blocker but it appears to only add to the problem. I use Norton online and RegCurePro.. what am I missing?

Search for arcade crush virus. From the results it looks like you have quite a bit of cleanup. If you can restore the OS to a previous date that might work better.

I've had very good luck with MalwareBytes. It's free too!

I would clear cookies--that may be triggering the ads.

I downloaded Malwarebites but that didn't fix it.
Finally I looked at the CandyCrush website and found instructions that directed me to my Chrome Settings and Extensions. Removed CandyCrush on that site, so far so good.
