Well, I am still scratching my head on how Lee Dwyze won American Idol over Krystal Bowersox............

So true. And just think - - viewers have the power to input their own two cents, by just dialing in their vote instead of complaining that the dancer they like got booted off.

I still think Katherine McPhee was "robbed" on AI (as do a lot of other fans), but genuine competion entails the real risk of each competitor losing as well as winning. Oddly, the entire American public does not agree with me on every single political issue, much less every single call-in-your-vote TV show.

Oh man!! ME TOO. That was absolutely unexpected and unbelievable. And (for me), the fact that either one of them would win over Siobhan was just tragic! Siobhan was fantastic IMO. Oddly, the entire rest of the country didn't happen to agree with me on that one at all.

Not to beat a dead horse but apparently more of those viewers who voted agreed with ls99 than agreed with dex.

And Jennifer Hudson, seventh place, to Fantasia's win in the third season! What was up with that?

That's for sure! And he doesn't seem to have done much at all with his opportunities as Idol winner, either, compared with Adam Lambert who was only runner-up.

See, you needed to call in your vote if you wanted the South to win.

Yup, Lambert in 100 the artist as Allen. Popularity contest, no one was more shocked than Allen that he won.

This is nothing but a popularity contest and its main purpose is for entertainment. Bristol may not have been a good dancer compare to others on the show but she is much more popular.

What I don't get is why is she called a "STAR"

Let's give those that make those comments the benefit of the doubt. The Tea Party influence/question has been raised in the show and they might not know about it.

'cause she is one now? Even if only for 15 minutes.

Ahem...... the show is about dancing with the stars. Well she started out dancing with them with next to no chance of getting halfway through.

Or do we need to parse the meaning of "with"?

Maybe they should include one non-celebrity to dance and see where they get to. Heck they had Kardashian, besides being nice 'n curvy what else has she got?
