I have a 2yr old Dell monitor and up till now when i shut the machine down the monitor turns off and the small green light turns amber and i have a black screen,the last couple of days when shutting down the computer the screen goes black but the small light stays green and a small multi colored window remains to float across the black screen saying the monitor is self diagnosing color resolution,does this window every disappear? as its been on every time i shut down the computer and stays on till i restart the PC.
