I can't stand Oprah. I don't know why really, but I don't. But my mom watches her show every day. And when I drop by late in the day to pick up my mutt, I get to listen to a recap of the show. If I tell my mom I don't want to hear about it.....I'm in the dog house. Oh well, she is 91 so I just listen.

I have a soft spot for Oprah. Years ago, I went back to visit Chicagoland and, lo and behold, the ladies were all excited about a new show in a coffee klatch format. Of course, it was she, and who can resist the expression, coffee klatch. I liked her in "The Color Purple" also.
